42CrMoS4 peeled or turned steel round bar
42CrMoS4 is a kind of hardening steel similar to 42CrMo4 but with limited sulphur content 0.020%-0.035% general in quenched and tempered condition. Compared to 42CrMo4 steel round bar steel round bar and 1.7225 steel round bar, 42CrMoS4 steel round bar has more S content 0.02-0.035 which improve the steel bar cutting and machining.
Steel bar peeling or turning is a kind of machining used to remove the imperfections on the hot rolled bars surface. It can also get more precision diameter tolerance and bright surface after peeling or turning. If grinding or polishing is added, the steel bars will be have very good surface roughness which can be directly used to produce components.
